The 4* Spencer Hotel is perfectly located overlooking the River Liffey, just a few minutes walk from the famous O'Connell Bridge and 30 minutes from Dublin Airport and Leopardstown Racecourse. Airport Transfers are easy as the Aircoach arrives and departs every 30 minutes from Dublin Airport and stops right outside the hotel. Our packages include luxury Classic Rooms, either with 1 x King Size (Double) or 2 x Separate Beds (Twin). Each air-conditioned room includes a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. WHEN YOU BOOK

AFTER YOU BOOK
Our booking terms are very fair and easy to understand, for both you and us. After you have booked you can email us to change anything, add extras or cancel your booking in full and receive a full refund anytime up until 31 days before you arrive. From 31 days through event no refunds are possible but you may be able to change some minor details.
FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT
Depending on the number of guests travelling together, the fastest and most comfortable way to get to The Spencer Hotel is by taxi. The drive will take around 25 minutes and will cost around €40 to €45. If you are travelling as a group we can arrange a mini-coach or coach for your return journey.
ARRIVING BY CAR
The Spencer Hotel, is located on Excise Steet in central Dublin. Directions from anywhere to The Spencer Hotel can be found Here. The Spencer Hotel car park is part of the busy IFSC complex and car parking is available at an overnight rate of €25 per day. Just a short walk from the Car Park to the Hotel entrance.
PRIVATE TRANSPORT
Private Transfers are available to and from Dublin Airport with our travel partner, Platinum Driving Services. You can view charges and book online HERE. For Groups of 7 or more guests we can offer Private return coach transport from €250 each way, depending on guest numbers.
CHECKING IN
Please go to Hotel reception and check in. If you arrive before check in time (3:30pm) you may not have access to your room. In this case the Hotel will store your luggage for you until your room is ready. The Hotel will be 100% full during this event so please be prepared for a longer check in time than normal.
OUR GUEST DESK
Our Race and Stay guest desk is located a short distance from Hotel reception. Our staff are based there from 10:00 each morning and this is where you will collect your race tickets from each day. We are there to help you have the best time possible. Please check our screens for the latest information.
YOUR ROOM AND COMFORT
The Spencer Hotel rooms are all en-suite and have very comfortable Beds and Pillows. You'll have plenty of hanging space for your clothes, with in room safe, tea and coffee station, hairdryer, flat screen TV and channels, iron and board, fluffy towels, luxury toiletries, and all you need for your stay.

The Spencerl on Excise street is located within walking distance of the trendy bars and restaurants of the Docklands area and also to the best bars and nightlife in the city centre. The main shopping areas of Grafton Street and O'Connell Street are just a few minutes away as is Temple Bar.
RACING PREVIEW SHOWS
Our Racing Preview shows take place at the Clayton Hotel, Leopardstown on Saturday & Sunday mornings at 10am. If you would like to attend you can book a taxi from the Hotel (cost approx €30 and you can then go racing direct from the Clayton and take the Spencer Coach back to your Hotel after racing concludes.
THE RACES
Dublin Racing Festival features 4 Grade 1 races each day and a number of high value supporting contests to enjoy. Racing starts at 13:15 on Saturday and concludes at 16:45. On Sunday the first race is due off at 12:40 and the last race is at 16:25. We suggest that you arrive before 11:45am on both days.
RACE TRANSPORT
Our Race and Stay coach will depart from the front of the Hotel at 11:10am on Saturday and 11:00am on Sunday . Return coaches will depart from the Coach Park 40 minutes after the last race start time each day. The coaches cannot wait for you if you are late and will depart on the times shown.
TICKETS & HOSPITALITY
Please collect your race tickets from our Guest Desk no later than 10:45 each morning. When you arrive at the racecourse entrance you will have your ticket scanned and you are free to enjoy your day. Premier Level and Hospitality guests will be escorted by our staff to the area they are booked into.
AT LEOPARDSTOWN
Both days will be very busy but great fun. There are several food and drinks outlets outside and inside the grandstand. Entertainment will be on during the afternoon and after racing so if you want to stay on, please do, you can get a taxi back to the hotel if you leave after the coach has departed.
WHAT TO WEAR
There is no formal dress code at Leopardstown but no sportswear or anything offensive. For the Ladies, if you want to “glam up for the day” please do so, but do also dress for the weather. For the Gents, smart casual always works in all areas but the main rule is to be comfortable and warm in what you are wearng.
