Naas Racecourse is a dual-purpose track (Flat and Jumps Racing) only 30 minutes from Dublin in County Kildare, hosting 20 fixtures per year. The Grade 1 Ballymore Novice Hurdle is the centrepiece of the National Hunt season, held on January 4th. The flat race season starts in March and features many good races, often won by young upcoming stars of the future. The Octoberfest meeting (10th & 11th October) is very popular and a great weekend to enjoy Naas races too.
