Race and Stay are major sponsors of horse races in Ireland and we also venture into the UK in Patnership with Horse Racing Ireland and Punchestown Racecourse for more specific marketing events. During 2025 we will contribute over €100k in sponsorship and marketing costs back into racing. GIVING BACK TO RACING

CHARITY DONATIONS

Race and Stay are major contributors to charities each year. We pledge to give back and support the Irish Injured Jockeys Fund and Irish Horse Welfare trust, the two main charities looking after care of the equine and human superstars in our sport. Not only that we have supported many worthy causes with prizes and packages each year and we will continue to do so as part of our industry support programme.

In 2025 we will contribute in excess of €25K in donations to a number of charities, all deserving causes and we wish we could do more, but we have to stay afloat!! - If you know of a deserving cause that could use our help please do get in touch with us, we are open to any suggestions.

CARING FOR RACEHORSES

TRIO EILE

Race and Stay are Team sponsors and official supporters of Trio Eile (The re-training of Irish Racehorses). Trio Eile is a fabulous charity who rehome and retrain racehorses when their career on the track is over. Each December they run a fantastic Christmas Show, which is always sold out, featuring show jumping classes and competitions that enclude 4 person teams made up of a Jockey, Showjumper and usually 2 Junior riders. Great fun altogether and an event that raises many thousands of Euros to help them in their endeavors.

Race and Stay are proud to support not only this great event but also the aims and ambitions of Trio Eile. Racehorses are precious animals and many have enjoyed a new career showjumping, endurance racing, dressage and a myriad of equestrian disciplines courtesy of Trio Eile and their excellent staff.

SUPPORTING IRISH TOURISM

Race and Stay are major contributors to The Irish Tourism Industry too. We book in excess of 6,500 room nights each year with our partner Hotels and will look after in excess of 9,000 guests who book Irish racing packages with us in 2025 alone. Working on the tourism industry statistics Race and Stay help to contribute over €6M into the Irish economy each year. Our Hotel spend alone in 2025 will be in excess of €900K, which makes us one of the biggest Hotel bookers in Ireland.

Not only those impressive statistics but we also contribute a large amount to the transport industry too. In 2025 we will book over 1,000 journeys for our guests, from simple airport transfers and racecourse return trips to more complex day long Irish tours. We also contribute over €300K to racecourses directly for admission ticket and hospitality sales. Race and Stay are proud to be a major contributor to the Irish Tourism Industry.

Helping The Environment

GETTING GREENER

Race and Stay have pledged to continue to improve on our green credentials. We operate a fully paperless booking engine and guest information system which allows all guests to receive information directly to their mobile phone and reduce the need to print out any information they need to enjoy their stay with us. Since 2023 we have also stopped supplying racing and newspapers to our guests. All racing information is now available online anyway so by reducing print requirements we are doing another small bit to help to reduce carbon emissions.

The minimal paper waste our business produces is always recyclable. We never send anything to landfill. We are also supporting the initiative by Horse Racing Ireland in the planting of a large number of trees at racecourses and we hope to become more involved as time passes. We are also working with our transport companies to gradually change to vehicles that are carbon free in operation but that will take some time.
