Our tour includes not only two days racing at Leopardstown for the Dublin Racing Festival but an additional day on Monday starting with our tour of legendary trainer Jessica Harrington's stables and racing at Punchestown in the comfort of our Private Suite overlooking the finish. Please note this tour will sell out very quickly as it is limited to a maximum of 40 guests only.
Over this tour you'll enjoy the 8 Grade 1 races and a large number of listed and valuable Hurdle and Chase's at Leopardstown for the prestigious Dublin Racing Festival, and additional racing at Punchestown on Bank Holiday Monday. Staying at the 4* Clayton Hotel, literally opposite the track at Leopardstown, with our Preview shows and all transport and some meals included. ITINERARY
Friday
Our Driver will collect you from Dublin Airport and take you to the 4* Clayton Hotel for our welcome dinner.
Saturday
After the Preview Show we will depart for Leopardstown for day 1 of the fabulous Dublin Racing Festival.
Sunday
After the Preview Show we will depart for Leopardstown for day 2 of the fabulous Dublin Racing Festival.
Monday
Today we depart for our Jessica Harrington Stable Tour before a fabulous days racing at Punchestown with buffet lunch hospitality in our Race and Stay Private Suite
Tuesday
We will transport you back to Dublin Airport.
WHEN YOU BOOK

When you book you will be emailed a BOOKING CONFIRMATION which contains all the details of your requested booking, you can then email us to add extras or cancel your booking in full and receive a full refund anytime up until 31 days before you arrive.
CHECKING IN
Please go to Hotel reception and check in. If you arrive before check in time (3:30pm) you may not have access to your room. In this case the Hotel will store your luggage for you until your room is ready. The Hotel will be 100% full during this event so please be prepared for a longer check in time than normal.
OUR GUEST DESK
Our Race and Stay guest desk is located a short distance from Hotel reception. Our staff are based there from 09:00 each morning and this is where you will collect your race tickets from each day. We are there to help you have the best time possible. Please check our screens for the latest information.
YOUR ROOM AND COMFORT
The Clayton rooms are all en-suite are very comfortable and feature signature Clayton Beds and Pillows. You'll have plenty of hanging space for your clothes, with in room safe, tea and coffee station, hairdryer, flat screen TV and channels, iron and board, fluffy towels and all you need for your stay.
EATING AND DRINKING
There are 3 main food options at the Clayton. The Bay and Sorrel restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Atrium for casual dining and the Bookmakers Bar, serving cocktails, Beers and Spirits with entertainment over the weekend. Bookings are essential for all meals: Call + 353 1 293 5000
RACE AND STAY BAR
Race and Stay have exlusive use of our own bar during the Dublin Racing Festival. A place for our guests to beat the queues for a drink after racing and enjoy the Racing TV replays of the days action on the big screen. Our Bar is open from 5pm on Saturday & Sunday evenings. Food is served in the main atrium
HOTEL LEISURE
The Clayton Hotel has a small fitness suite, located on the lower ground floor which is free to use for all hotel guests over 18. Weights, running machines and more are all available for you to use from 08:00 until 20:00 each day. Please note that this hotel has no in house pool or spa.
RACING PREVIEW SHOWS
Our Racing Preview show takes place at the hotel on both Saturday & Sunday mornings before racing. Hosted by the Racing Post's Dave Jennings, join some of Ireland's top trainers, Jockeys and Racing Personalities as they mark your card for the racing ahead. A fun and informative way to start your tour.
DUBLIN RACING FESTIVAL
Dublin Racing Festival features 4 Grade 1 races each day and a number of high value supporting contests to enjoy. Racing starts at 13:15 on Saturday and concludes at 16:45. On Sunday the first race is due off at 12:40 and the last race is at 16:25. We will make sure all guests arrive early on both days.
AT LEOPARDSTOWN
Both days will be very busy but great fun. There are several food and drinks outlets outside and inside the grandstand. Entertainment will be on during the afternoon and after racing so if you want to stay on, please do, you can get a taxi back to the hotel if you leave after the coach has departed.
PUNCHESTOWN
Our Race and Stay coach will depart from the hotel at 08:30am on Monday for our Jessica Harrington Tour and race day at Punchestown. You'll enjoy the races from the comfort of The Race and Stay Private Suite overlooking the final yards of the race with a fabulous lunch included.
TICKETS & HOSPITALITY
Your race tickets in this package at Leopardstown are General Admission. They allow access to all public areas but you can upgrade to the Premier Level with Reserved seat or a VIP Hospitality Package after you book at additional cost. Just let us know what suits you and we'll make sure you get what you want.
WHAT TO WEAR
There is no formal dress code on Irish Racecourses For the Ladies, if you want to “glam up for the day” please do so, but do also dress for the weather. For the Gents, smart casual always works in all areas. Whatever you decide to wear please be comfortable and dress for the weather, it is February in Ireland after all !!
