After you have booked you can email us to change anything, add extras or cancel your booking in full and receive a full refund anytime up until 31 days before you arrive. From 31 days through event no refunds are possible but you may be able to change some minor details.

WEDNESDAY 9th SEPTEMBER
Arrivals Day- Our driver will collect you from Dublin Airport and take you to The Osprey Hotel to check in.
THURSDAY 10th SEPTEMBER
Your morning is free until we depart at 3pm for the iconic Laytown Races. An unreal experience watching horses gallop across Laytown strand in the worlds only licenced Beach Racing event. Usually 6 races take place before the tide comes in and its time to go home. A very popular event with tourists and locals alike.
FRIDAY 11th SEPTEMBER
After breakfast we will depart to the fabulous Kildangan Stud, Godolphin's breeding operation in Ireland for our VIP tour. After the tour we will go to The Curragh racecourse and have a lunch in the company of legendary trainer Dermot Weld and then to his Rosewell House Stables for a tour. This evening we have a welcome dinner planned and our Irish Champions Festival Preview Show.
SATURDAY 12th SEPTEMBER
This morning at 12 noon we will depart to Leopardstown Racecourse to enjoy Day 1 of the Irish Champions Festival. Witness the Irish Champion Stakes and a host of other top class races. You can also upgrade your ticket to Premier Level for € 130pp extra or Hospitality at an additional €250pp if required.
SUNDAY 13th SEPTEMBER
After breakfast we will transport you back to Dublin Airport for your return flight home.
ADDITIONS
You are welcome to add Golf, Additional nights and Hospitality for one or more days of this tour. Why not "Fly In" to the races on our own Helicopters for the extra special treat. Just let us know what you'd like to add and we will get back to you with a quotation.
CHECKING IN
Please go to Hotel reception and check in. If you arrive before check in time (3:30pm) you may not have access to your room. In this case the Hotel will store your luggage for you until your room is ready. The Hotel will be 100% full during this event so please be prepared for a longer check in time than normal.
OUR GUEST DESK
Our Race and Stay guest desk is located a short distance from Hotel reception. Our staff are based there from 10:30 each morning and this is where you will collect your race tickets from each day. We are there to help you have the best time possible. Please check our screens for the latest information.
YOUR ROOM AND COMFORT
The Osprey Guest rooms are all en-suite are very comfortable and feature signature Beds and Pillows. You'll have plenty of hanging space for your clothes, with in room safe, tea and coffee station, hairdryer, flat screen TV and channels, iron and board, fluffy towels and all you need for your stay.
EATING AND DRINKING

LEISURE
If you enjoy your leisure at hotels then the Osprey is definately for you. With a 20 metre deck level swimming pool, Sauna, Award winning Spa and extensive fitness suite all available to our guests. Naas Town is the social hub of the local area with many great local bars, restaurants and entertainment each night, all within walking distance of Lawlors Hotel. RACING PREVIEW SHOW
Please do join us for our Welcome Dinner on Friday night at Lawlors Hotel at 8pm and enjoy a light hearted infomative Irish Champions Festival Weekend racing preview show with our invited Jockey, Trainer and Racing Personality guests expertly hosted by the Racing Post's Dave Jennings. THURSDAY AT THE RACES
The most unique experience in Irish Racing are the Laytown Races, the only official licenced beach racing in the world. When the tide goes out on Laytown Strand, just North of Dublin, rails and a winning post are put up and large crowds flock to see the 6 x 7 furlong races. The last race usually takes place as the tide is coming in. Great fun altogether, whatever the weather, with serious betting too.
SATURDAY AT THE RACES
Features a nine race card made up of five Group Races and one listed race. The two Group One races on the card are the prestigious Royal Bahrain Irish Champion Stakes and the Coolmore America “Justify” Matron Stakes, which has been rated the highest mares and fillies race for the past three years. The programme is further enhanced with the Group 2 Tonybet Solonaway Stakes and The KPMG Champions Juvenile Stakes.
TICKETS & HOSPITALITY
Please collect your race tickets from our Guest Desk each morning. When you arrive at the racecourse entrance you will have your ticket scanned and you are free to enjoy your day. Premier Level and Hospitality guests will be escorted by our staff to the area they are booked into.
AT THE RACES
Both days will be very busy but great fun. At both Leopardstown and The Curragh there are several food and drinks outlets outside and inside the grandstands. Entertainment will be on during the afternoon and after racing and if you'd prefer to stay on for the evening entertainment just let us know.
WHAT TO WEAR
There is no formal dress code on Irish Racecourses but no sportswear or anything offensive. For the Ladies, if you want to “glam up for the day” please do so, but do also dress for the weather. For the Gents, smart casual always works in all areas but the main rule is to be comfortable and warm in what you are wearng.
