FRIDAY 11th SEPTEMBER

Arrivals Day- Our driver will collect you from Dublin Airport and take you to the excellent 4* Lawlors Hotel to check in. This evening we have a welcome dinner planned and our fun and informative Irish Champions Festival Preview Show

SATURDAY 12th SEPTEMBER

This morning at 12 noon we will depart to Leopardstown Racecourse to enjoy Day 1 of the Irish Champions Festival. Witness the Irish Champion Stakes and a host of other top class races. Your Package today includes Racecourse admission plus VIP Hospitality in the prestigious 1888 Restaurant.

SUNDAY 13th SEPTEMBER

After breakfast at 9:30am we will transport you to the fabulous Irish National Stud for our informative tour. Following the tour we go racing at The Curragh. Your Package today includes VIP Hospitality in the prestigious St Leger Restaurant.

MONDAY 14th SEPTEMBER

After breakfast we will depart to the fabulous Kildangan Stud, Godolphin's breeding operation in Ireland for our VIP tour. After the tour we will go to The Curragh racecourse and have a lunch in the company of legendary trainer Dermot Weld and then to his Rosewell House Stables for a tour.

TUESDAY 15th SEPTEMBER

You are in for a real VIP treat today as we depart for the legendary racing stables of Champion Trainer Aidan O'Brien and Ballydoyle for our VIP Tour. Enjoy watching some of racing's top horses on the famous gallops and get behind the scenes of this world class racing operation. An unreal experience restricted to the privileged few.

MONDAY 14th SEPTEMBER

After breakfast we will transport you back to Dublin Airport for your return flight home. You are welcome to add Golf, and anything else you may like. Just let us know what you'd like to add.

CHECKING IN

Please go to Hotel reception and check in. If you arrive before check in time (3:30pm) you may not have access to your room. In this case the Hotel will store your luggage for you until your room is ready. The Hotel will be 100% full during this event so please be prepared for a longer check in time than normal.

OUR GUEST DESK

Our Race and Stay guest desk is located a short distance from Hotel reception. Our staff are based there from early each morning and this is where you will collect your race tickets from each day. We are there to help you have the best time possible. Please check our screens for the latest information.

YOUR ROOM AND COMFORT

Lawlors Guest rooms are all en-suite are very comfortable and feature signature Beds and Pillows. You'll have plenty of hanging space for your clothes, with in room safe, tea and coffee station, hairdryer, flat screen TV and channels, iron and board, fluffy towels and all you need for your stay.

EATING AND DRINKING

There are 3 main food options at Lawlors. The Bistro restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Atrium for casual dining and Vi's Restaurant for a more intimate dining experience. THE RANDOM INN BAR

The Random Inn is a great spot for a drink and to enjoy the Racing TV replays of the days action on the big screen. Very busy at weekends and a locals favorite too the Bar is open from 5pm until late. Great Cocktails, a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits and there is always entertainment on at weekends too.

NAAS TOWN

Naas Town is the social hub of the local area with many great local bars, restaurants and entertainment each night, all within walking distance of Lawlors Hotel. A few suggestions are Haydens Bar, McCormacks, and Kavanaghs. All have entertainment at weekends. Tommy Fletchers for an old style Irish Pub experience

RACING PREVIEW SHOW

Please do join us for our Welcome Dinner on Friday night at Lawlors Hotel at 8pm and enjoy a light hearted infomative Irish Champions Festival Weekend racing preview show with our invited Jockey, Trainer and Racing Personality guests expertly hosted by the Racing Post's Dave Jennings. Admission and return transport is Free for all Race and Stay guests. A great start to your tour package

SATURDAY AT THE RACES

Features a nine race card made up of five Group Races and one listed race. The two Group One races on the card are the prestigious Royal Bahrain Irish Champion Stakes and the Coolmore America “Justify” Matron Stakes, which has been rated the highest mares and fillies race for the past three years. The programme is further enhanced with the Group 2 Tonybet Solonaway Stakes and The KPMG Champions Juvenile Stakes.

SUNDAY AT THE RACES

The Curragh Racecourse is home to all five Irish Classic races and is the historic venue for the second day of the Irish Champions Festival. The four Group 1 races on the eight-race card are the Comer Group International Irish St Leger, the final Irish Classic of the season, the Moyglare Stud Stakes, the Goffs Vincent O'Brien National Stakes and the Derrinstown Stud Flying Five Stakes.

TICKETS & HOSPITALITY

Please collect your race tickets from our Guest Desk each morning. When you arrive at the racecourse we will escort you through the turnstiles, where you will have your ticket scanned, and you will be escorted by our staff to the 1888 Restaurant at Leopardstown and the St Leger Suite at The Curragh.

WHAT TO WEAR

There is no formal dress code on Irish Racecourses but no sportswear or anything offensive. For the Ladies, if you want to “glam up for the day” please do so, but do also dress for the weather. For the Gents, smart casual always works in all areas but the main rule is to be comfortable and warm in what you are wearng.

STUD AND STABLE VISITS

For the three stud and stable visits on this tour please make sure you wear suitable outerwear and good shoes. You are welcome to bring a change of clothes if you wish and get changed, if needed, at the Stud or Racecourse. On Sunday the tour will go direct from the Irish National Stud to the Curragh after the tour.
