WHEN YOU BOOK
Over 80,000 happy guests have booked with Race and Stay and when you book with us you can chose to pay a €100 deposit or Pay In Full. Either way your payment to us is fully refundable anytime up until 01/06/26. When you book you will be automatically emailed a BOOKING CONFIRMATION which contains all the details of your requested booking.
AFTER YOU BOOK
Our booking terms are very fair and easy to understand, for both you and us. After you have booked you can email us to change anything, add extras or cancel your booking in full and receive a full refund anytime up until 31 days before you arrive. From 31 days through event no refunds are possible but you may be able to change some minor details.
FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT
The best way to get to The Bellinter House Hotel is by taxi from Dublin Airport, approximately 45 minutes away. There are no good public transport links to the Hotel from the airport. an Airport Taxi will cost approx €90 each way, or a Private Transfers €130 each way.
ARRIVING BY CAR
Parking for hotel guests at The Bellinter House Hotel and Spa Hotel is free. The car park is located surrounding the hotel on ground level. There are no entrance and exit barriers and no ticket is required. Driving Directions are available here
PRIVATE TRANSPORT
Private Transfers are available to and from Dublin Airport with our travel partner, Platinum Driving Services. You can view charges and book online HERE. For Groups of 7 or more guests we can offer Private return coach transport from €250 each way.
CHECKING IN
Please go to Hotel reception and check in. If you arrive before check in time (3:30pm) you may not have access to your room. In this case the Hotel will store your luggage for you until your room is ready. The Hotel will be 100% full during this event so please be prepared for a longer check in time than normal.
OUR GUEST DESK
Our Race and Stay guest desk is located a short distance from Hotel reception. Our staff are based there at least 1 hour before we depart for racing on all three days. This is where you will collect your race tickets from each day. We are there to help you have the best time possible.
YOUR ROOM AND COMFORT
Bellinter House Guest rooms are all en-suite are very comfortable and feature signature Beds and Pillows. You'll have plenty of hanging space for your clothes, with in room safe, tea and coffee station, hairdryer, flat screen TV and channels, iron and board, fluffy towels and all you need for your stay.
EATING AND DRINKING
There are 3 main food options at the Hotel. The Preston’s Restaurant for an upmarket dining experience or The Georges Bistro for a more casual option. A hidden gem is also the Spa Cafe for a speciality tea, coffee and pastry indulgence. If you can please do experience the afternoon tea at Bellinter House. A fabulous experience altogether.

There are three Harvia saunas, each offering its own unique atmosphere and therapeutic benefits, or the soothing warmth of the Jacuzzi or the refreshing plunge pools. Navan Town is the social hub of the local area with many great local bars, restaurants and entertainment each night, all within a 20 minute taxi ride from the Bellinter House Hotel. A fabulously historic part of Ireland The Boyne Valley offers amazing scenery, old castles, Neolithic tombs, Historic Monuments and much more to explore.
A UNIQUE RACECOURSE
Bellewstown is a unique and exciting racecourse with a long history. Located atop the Hill of Crockafotha, in County Meath. Made famous by King George III who sponsored The Kins Plate in 1780 and more latterly by legendary gambler Barney Curley who instigated the Yellow Sam plot in 1975 by blocking the use of the phone lines from the phone box still on site today.
BELLEWSTOWN RACES
The Summer Festival has three days of quality jump and flat races to enjoy. This tricky track has unique undualtions and a kink in the bend before the finish which often catches an inexperienced horse and rider out so course form can be key. The races take place each evening, usually starting about 5pm each day, and finish just before 9pm.
RACE TRANSPORT
On each day our coach departs for Bellewstown at 15:00. The coach will get as close as possible to the main entrance and where the coach drops you off is where you'll catch the coach back to the hotel 40 minutes after racing concludes. Your guest manager will be on hand to assist on the outward and inbound journeys.
TICKETS & HOSPITALITY
Please collect your race tickets from our Guest Desk no later than 14:30 each day. When you arrive at the racecourse entrance you will have your ticket scanned and you are free to enjoy your day. Hospitality Guests will be escorted by our staff to the area they are booked into.
AT THE RACES
All 3 days will be very busy but great fun. At Bellewstown there are several food and drinks outlets outside and inside the grandstands. Entertainment will be on during the afternoon and a Live Band after racing and if you'd prefer to stay on for the evening entertainment just let us know.
WHAT TO WEAR
There is no formal dress code on Irish Racecourses but no sportswear or anything offensive. For the Ladies, if you want to “glam up for the day” please do so, but do also dress for the weather. For the Gents, smart casual always works in all areas but the main rule is to be comfortable and warm in what you are wearng.

Join us for a Race and Stay very special trip this year arriving on Wednesday 1st July , staying at the excellent 4* Dunboyne Castle Hotel. Our tour includes a Special Tour of leading trainer Ger Lyons Stable on Thursday morning followed by a behind the scenes tour of Bellewstown Racecourse. On Friday we have orgainsed a special visit to Gavin Cromwell's , Danestown Yard. These, coupled with a fabulous 3 days racing for the Bellewstown Festival on Thursday, Friday and Saturday with all transport, breakfast and some meals included.
BELLEWSTOWN HOSPITALITY

Bellewstown Hospitality is a casual dining experience, albeit with excellent quality food and service. Located in the reserved Marquee close to the action. Our package includes a 3 course buffet dinner, Cash Bar, race card, pen and Guest tipster. Guests can book a table of 10 or be seated on shared tables of 10 or alternatively if smaller tables are available on table sizes to suit your group size.
