A fabulous Leisure Centre is available to all guests and after a great workout or treatment why not enjoy a hearty meal in the Bar or the Oak Restaurant. If you are not racing, a coffee or speciality tea is very pleasant too. Clane Town has local bars and shops within easy walking distance of the Hotel and the social hub of Naas town with many late night venues and entertainment is just a short taxi ride away.

WHEN YOU BOOK

AFTER YOU BOOK
Our booking terms are very fair and easy to understand, for both you and us. After you have booked you can email us to change anything, add extras or cancel your booking in full and receive a full refund anytime up until 31 days before you arrive. From 31 days through event no refunds are possible but you may be able to change some minor details.
FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT
Depending on the number of guests travelling together, the fastest and most comfortable way to get to The Westgrove Hotel is by taxi. The drive will take around 35 minutes and will cost around €80 to €90. If you are travelling as a group we can arrange a mini-coach or coach for your return journey.
ARRIVING BY CAR
Parking for hotel guests at The Westgrove Hotel is free and you can get directions to the Westgrove Hotel from this link here: The car park is located at ground level and also underneath the hotel where there is a lift available for all guests. Please remember to get an exit ticket from reception when you check out.
PRIVATE TRANSPORT
Private Transfers are available to and from Dublin Airport with our travel partner, Platinum Driving Services. You can view charges and book online HERE. For Groups of 7 or more guests we can offer Private return coach transport from €250 each way, depending on guest numbers.
CHECKING IN
Please go to Hotel reception and check in. If you arrive before check in time (3:30pm) you may not have access to your room. In this case the Hotel will store your luggage for you until your room is ready. The Hotel will be 100% full during this event so please be prepared for a longer check in time than normal.
OUR GUEST DESK
Our Race and Stay guest desk is located a short distance from Hotel reception. Our staff are based there from 09:30 each morning and this is where you will collect your race tickets from each day. We are there to help you have the best time possible. Please check our screens for the latest information.

RACING PREVIEW SHOW
Please do join us for our Racing Preview show on Saturday morning in Lawlors Hotel starting at 09:30am. Enjoy a light hearted infomative racing preview with our special guests hosted by the Racing Post's David Jennings and featuring Jockeys, Trainers and racing personalities. After the show our coaches will depart to Punchestown.
THE RACES
The Premiere Weekend features 2 Grade 1 races and a number of excellent supporting contests to enjoy. Racing starts at 11:30 on Saturday and concludes at 15:45. On Sunday the first race is due off at 11:45 and the last race is at 15:25. We try to ensure we have all guests inside the racecourse and comfortable 40 minutes before the first race each day.
RACE TRANSPORT
We run one coach each day to Punchestown departing at 10:10 Direct to the racecourse. When you are dropped off it is a 300mt walk from the coach park to the entrance where you will present your ticket to be scanned on entry. Our Race and Stay return coach wil depart from where you were dropped off leaving 40 minutes after the last race each day.
TICKETS & HOSPITALITY
Please collect your race tickets from our Guest Desk no later than 10:00 each morning. When you arrive at the racecourse entrance you will have your ticket scanned and you are free to enjoy your day. Hospitality guests will be escorted by our staff to the area they are booked into.
AT PUNCHESTOWN
Both days will be busy but great fun. There are several food and drinks outlets outside and inside the grandstand. Entertainment will be on during the afternoon and after racing so if you want to stay on, please do, you can get a taxi back to the hotel if you leave after our scheduled coach departure time.
WHAT TO WEAR
There is no formal dress code at Punchestown but no sportswear or anything offensive. For the Ladies, if you want to “glam up for the day” please do so, but do also dress for the weather. For the Gents, smart casual always works in all areas but the main rule is to be comfortable and warm in what you are wearng.
