The 4* Keadeen Hotel is one of our most popular Hotels to stay in for the Irish Oaks Festival. Ideally located on the edge of the Curragh plains, just 35 minutes from Dublin Airport and 5 minutes from The Curragh. You can stay from 2 nights to a whole week.
The Keadeen Hotel is a friendly welcoming place to stay, and the fabulously comfortable en suite rooms include all the amenities you need. Upgrades to Superior rooms or 4 poster Suites may also be available. The extensive gardens are a delight in the warmer months or enjoy a fabulous meal in Saddlers, The Atrium Lounge or upscale Bay Leaf Restaurant. If you are not racing, why not take a dip in the 18mt pool or workout using the extensivce leisure facilities. Newbridge Town is a social hub with many great local bars, restaurants and entertainment most nights, all within a short taxi ride from The Keadeen Hotel.

WHEN YOU BOOK
Over 80,000 happy guests have booked with Race and Stay and when you book with us you can chose to pay a €100 deposit or Pay In Full. Either way your payment to us is fully refundable anytime up until 10/06/26. When you book you will be automatically emailed a BOOKING CONFIRMATION which contains all the details of your requested booking.
AFTER YOU BOOK
Our booking terms are very fair and easy to understand, for both you and us. After you have booked you can email us to change anything, add extras or cancel your booking in full and receive a full refund anytime up until 31 days before you arrive. From 31 days through event no refunds are possible but you may be able to change some minor details.
FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT
Getting to The Keadeen Hotel is easy from Dublin Airport: You can take the N7 airport coach which drops off close by, an Airport Taxi approx €120 each way, or book a Private Airport transfer with one of our transport partners from €130 each way.
ARRIVING BY CAR
Parking for hotel guests at The Keadeen Hotel is free but the car park will be very busy for this race meeting. The car park is located surrounding the hotel on ground level. There are no entrance and exit barriers and no ticket is required. Driving Directions are available here
PRIVATE TRANSPORT
Private Transfers are available to and from Dublin Airport with our travel partner, Platinum Driving Services. You can view charges and book online HERE. For Groups of 7 or more guests we can offer Private return coach transport from €250 each way.
CHECKING IN
Please go to Hotel reception and check in. If you arrive before check in time (3:30pm) you may not have access to your room. In this case the Hotel will store your luggage for you until your room is ready. The Hotel will be 100% full during this event so please be prepared for a longer check in time than normal.
OUR GUEST DESK
Our Race and Stay guest desk is located a short distance from Hotel reception. Our staff are based there from 11:00 each morning and this is where you will collect your race tickets from each day. We are there to help you have the best time possible. Please check our screens for the latest information.
YOUR ROOM AND COMFORT
Keadeen Hotel Guest rooms are all en-suite are very comfortable and feature signature Beds and Pillows. You'll have plenty of hanging space for your clothes, with in room safe, tea and coffee station, hairdryer, flat screen TV and channels, iron and board, fluffy towels and all you need for your stay.
EATING AND DRINKING
There are 2 main food options at The Keadeen. The Bay Leaf restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Atrium for limited menu dining and Saddlers Bar & Restaurant for a more casual dining experience. Saddlers Bar serves Beers and Spirits and a large selection of wines and cocktails.
LEISURE
If you enjoy your leisure at hotels then the Keadeen is definately for you. With a 18 metre deck level swimming pool, Sauna, Thermal Suite and extensive fitness suite all available to our guests. CLOSE BY
Naas Town is the social hub of the local area with many great local bars, restaurants and entertainment each night, all within a 20 minute taxi ride from the Keadeen Hotel. Newbridge and Kildare town's are also a short distance away also with bars and dining options. A taxi to Kildare would cost approx 15 euros.
RACING PREVIEW SHOW
Please do join us for our Racing Preview show on Friday night at 8pm in Lawlors Hotel. Enjoy a light hearted infomative Irish Oaks Festival Weekend racing preview show with our special guests hosted by the Racing Post's Dave Jennings. Admission and return transport is free.
THE RACES
Saturday is Irish Oaks Day, The fourth Classic Race of the season. Always a spectacular Ladies Day to enjoy with Champagne and Cocktails to die for. Sunday features high quality Group and Listed racing on the track with lots of entertainment for families and race goers alike.
RACE TRANSPORT
On both Saturday & Sunday there is a dedicated coach to and from The Curragh departing at 12 noon where the coach drops you off is where you'll catch the coach back to the hotel 45 minutes after racing concludes. Your guest manager will be on hand to assist on the outward and inbound journeys.
TICKETS & HOSPITALITY
Please collect your race tickets from our Guest Desk no later than 11:30 each morning. When you arrive at the racecourse entrance you will have your ticket scanned and you are free to enjoy your day. Hospitality Guests will be escorted by our staff to the area they are booked into.
AT THE RACES
Both days will be very busy but great fun. At The Curragh there are several food and drinks outlets outside and inside the grandstands. Entertainment will be on during the afternoon and a Live Band after racing and if you'd prefer to stay on for the evening entertainment just let us know.
WHAT TO WEAR
There is no formal dress code on Irish Racecourses but no sportswear or anything offensive. For the Ladies, if you want to “glam up for the day” please do so, but do also dress for the weather. For the Gents, smart casual always works in all areas but the main rule is to be comfortable and warm in what you are wearng.
