WHEN YOU BOOK

Either way your payment to us is fully refundable anytime up until 18/08/26. When you book you will be automatically emailed a BOOKING CONFIRMATION which contains all the details of your requested booking.
AFTER YOU BOOK
Our booking terms are very fair and easy to understand, for both you and us. After you have booked you can email us to change anything, add extras or cancel your booking in full and receive a full refund anytime up until 31 days before you arrive. From 31 days through event no refunds are possible but you may be able to change some minor details.
FROM KERRY AIRPORT
The best way to get to The The Ashe Hotel is by taxi from Kerry Airport, approximately 25 minutes away. There are no good public transport links to the Hotel from the airport. an Airport Taxi will cost approx €35 each way, or a Private Transfers €60 each way.
ARRIVING BY CAR
Parking for hotel guests at The Ashe Hotel is free but limited. The car park is located surrounding the hotel on ground level. There are no entrance and exit barriers and no ticket is required. Driving Directions are available here
PRIVATE TRANSPORT
Private Transfers are available to and from Kerry Airport with our travel partner, Platinum Driving Services. You can view charges and book online HERE. For Groups of 7 or more guests we can offer Private return coach transport from €250 each way.
CHECKING IN
Please go to Hotel reception and check in. If you arrive before check in time (3:30pm) you may not have access to your room. In this case the Hotel will store your luggage for you until your room is ready. The Hotel will be 100% full during this event so please be prepared for a longer check in time than normal.

Alfie’s Lounge offers a variety of indoor and outdoor casual dining spaces, showcasing a European, mid-Atlantic inspired menu throughout the day. With your educated palette in mind, eating at Alfie’s has been designed around fresh ingredients and good taste. Cocktails range from seasonal specialities to classics.
GARDEN TERRACE
The Garden Terrace is a chatty neighbourhood space popular with guests and locals. Pretty flower boxes, comfy furniture and fairy lights give a great backdrop for casual dining and cocktails. With your ultimate comfort in mind, the Garden Terrace is a bright sunny spot in the summer, and heated in the winter with super-cosy blankets draped over loungers.
ROUNDY'S
Roundy's Bar, Across from The Ashe is Open Thursday – Sunday From 6pm. Have you met our little brother, Roundy’s? Quirky, quaint, and quintessentially traditional neighbourhood bar across from The Ashe. In a county where football runs through the veins of the locals, Roundy’s is the namesake of 1930s Kerry footballer and legend Tim Roundy Landers.
TRALEE
Tralee, also hosts the Tir na nOg Easter Festival, the Feile na mBlath Garden Festival and Christy Hennessy Music Festival. Golfers will love the Arnold Palmer designed Tralee Golf Course with stunning views from the club house and course. Other activities can be enjoyed at Tralee Equestrian Centre, Kingdom Greyhound Racing Stadium, Tralee Pitch and Putt, and many walks.
A UNIQUE RACECOURSE
The town of Listowel is renowned as a popular tourist destination and Listowel Harvest Festival race week is one of its biggest festivals. Listowel racecourse is located in the heart of the town and is very popular with tourists and locals alike. Listowel stages a number of valuable flat races and over hurdles and fences. An ideal stay here is 3 nights with 2 days racing.
LISTOWEL RACES
The Listowel Festival runs over seven fabulous days and is filled with glamour, festivities, music, entertainment and of course top class flat and National Hunt Racing. The Listowel Festival also features extra attractions each day including live music in the Festival Marquee, Winning Line celebrity tipster panel and the Ladies Day Style Awards on the Friday.
RACE TRANSPORT
On each day our coach departs 1 hour and 45 minutes before the first race time. The coach will get as close as possible to the main entrance and where the coach drops you off is where you'll catch the coach back to the hotel 40 minutes after racing concludes. Your guest manager will be on hand to assist on the outward and inbound journeys.
TICKETS & HOSPITALITY
Please collect your race tickets from your Guest Manager no later than 30 minutes before our coach departs each day. When you arrive at the racecourse entrance you will have your ticket scanned and you are free to enjoy your day. Hospitality Guests will be escorted by our staff to the area they are booked into.
AT THE RACES
All days, especially Friday, will be very busy but great fun. At Listowel Races there are several food and drinks outlets outside and inside the grandstands. Entertainment will be on during the afternoon and a Live Band after racing and if you'd prefer to stay on for the evening entertainment just let us know.
WHAT TO WEAR
There is no formal dress code on Irish Racecourses but no sportswear or anything offensive. For the Ladies, if you want to “glam up for the day” please do so, but do also dress for the weather. For the Gents, smart casual always works in all areas but the main rule is to be comfortable and warm in what you are wearng.
