The 4* Westgrove Hotel is one of our most popular Hotels to stay in for the Fairyhouse Easter Festival. Ideally located in the village of Clane, County Kildare, just 35 minutes from Dublin Airport and City and 30 minutes from Fairyhouse Racecourse. You can stay from 1 night for as long as you wish. Low cost Dublin Airport transfers are available to and from this hotel.
The Westgrove Hotel is a great value and friendly, welcoming place to stay. The fabulously comfortable en suite rooms include all the amenities you need. Upgrades to Superior rooms or Junior Suites may also be available at additional cost. The food is delicious and you can enjoy a fabulous meal in the Oak Bar and Restaurant. If you are not racing, why not take a dip in the 18mt pool or workout using the extensivce leisure facilities. Clane Town is a social hub with ocal bars, restaurants and entertainment most nights, all within a short walking distance from The Westgrove Hotel.

WHEN YOU BOOK

Either way your payment to us is fully refundable anytime up until 20/02/27. When you book you will be automatically emailed a BOOKING CONFIRMATION which contains all the details of your requested booking.
AFTER YOU BOOK
Our booking terms are very fair and easy to understand, for both you and us. After you have booked you can email us to change anything, add extras or cancel your booking in full and receive a full refund anytime up until 31 days before you arrive. From 31 days through event no refunds are possible but you may be able to change some minor details.
FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT
Depending on the number of guests travelling together, the fastest and most comfortable way to get to The Westgrove Hotel is by taxi. The drive will take around 35 minutes and will cost around €80 to €90. If you are travelling as a group we can arrange a mini-coach or coach for your return journey.
ARRIVING BY CAR
Parking for hotel guests at The Westgrove Hotel is free and you can get directions to the Westgrove Hotel from this link here: The car park is located at ground level and also underneath the hotel where there is a lift available for all guests. Please remember to get an exit ticket from reception when you check out.
PRIVATE TRANSPORT
Private Transfers are available to and from Dublin Airport with our travel partner, Platinum Driving Services. You can view charges and book online HERE. For Groups of 7 or more guests we can offer Private return coach transport from €250 each way depending on the group size and time of collection.
CHECKING IN
Please go to Hotel reception and check in. If you arrive before check in time (3:30pm) you may not have access to your room. In this case the Hotel will store your luggage for you until your room is ready. The Hotel will be 100% full during this event so please be prepared for a longer check in time than normal.
OUR GUEST DESK
Our Race and Stay guest desk is located a short distance from Hotel reception. Our staff are based there at least 1 hour before we depart for racing on all days. This is where you will collect your race tickets from each day. We are there to help you have the best time possible.

The Hotel rooms are all en-suite are very comfortable and feature very comfortable Beds and Pillows. You'll have plenty of hanging space for your clothes, with in room safe, tea and coffee station, hairdryer, flat screen TV and channels, iron and board, fluffy towels and all you need for your stay.

FAIRYHOUSE RACECOURSE

The Racecourse is a testing, right handed, galloping course with a slightly uphill last 3f where you have to make sure you time your challenge well. "
THE RACES
Fairyhouse Easter Festival runs from Saturday 27th - Monday 29th March 2027. Racing is competitive on all 3 days but if you are going for more of a party type experience then Saturday is for you. Sunday, features the Fairyhouse Gold Cup. And Bank Holiday Monday features The Boyle Sports Irish Grand National, the highlight of the weekend.
RACE TRANSPORT
On all days our coach departs for Fairyhouse at 11:00am each morning. The coach will get as close as possible to the main entrance and where the coach drops you off is where you'll catch the coach back to the hotel 40 minutes after racing concludes. Your guest manager will be on hand to assist on the outward and inbound journeys.
TICKETS & HOSPITALITY
Please collect your race tickets from our Guest Desk no later than 10:50 each morning. When you arrive at the racecourse entrance you will have your ticket scanned and you are free to enjoy your day. Hospitality Guests will be escorted by our staff to the area they are booked into.
AT THE RACES
All 3 days will be very busy but great fun. At Fairyhouse there are several food and drinks outlets outside and inside the grandstands. Entertainment will be on during the afternoon and a Live Band after racing and if you'd prefer to stay on for the evening entertainment just let us know.
WHAT TO WEAR
There is no formal dress code on Irish Racecourses but no sportswear or anything offensive. For the Ladies, if you want to “glam up for the day” please do so, but do also dress for the weather. For the Gents, smart casual always works in all areas but the main rule is to be comfortable and warm in what you are wearng.

The BobbyJo Restaurant is a VIP location on the first level of the grandstand with magnificent views over the Racecourse and a large balcony overlooking the parade ring. Our package includes a Premier Level Badge, 3 course lunch, Cash Bar, race card, pen and Guest tipster. Guests can book a table of 10 or be seated on shared tables of 10 or alternatively if smaller tables are available on table sizes to suit your group size.
