The Irish Guineas Festival at The Curragh takes place on the 23rd & 24th May 2026. You are welcome to upgrade your tour and add Hospitality Packages, Extra Nights and anything else you may like after you book.
WHEN YOU BOOK

AFTER YOU BOOK
Our booking terms are very fair and easy to understand, for both you and us. After you have booked you can email us to change anything, add extras or cancel your booking in full and receive a full refund anytime up until 31 days before you arrive. From 31 days through event no refunds are possible but you may be able to change some minor details.

DAY 1 | Friday 22nd May
You'll be met at the airport by one of our Race and Stay Drivers and transported to the 4* Lawlors Hotel.
DAY 2 | Saturday 23rd May
After breakfast at at 10:00am you are invited to join us and our racing panel for the Irish Guineas Preview show. After the show at 11.00am we will depart to The Curragh for a quick "behind the scenes tour" before racing begins which features the first Classic of the season. The Tattersalls Irish 2000 Guineas and a number of other high profile races to enjoy. After racing we will return you to the Hotel.
DAY 3 | Sunday 24th May
After breakfast and a morning at leisure at 12:00 noon we will transport you to The Curragh for the second Classic, The Tattersalls Irish 1000 Guineas. A day where fashionistas dress up and great prizes are offered to the winners. After racing we will return you to the Hotel.
DAY 4 | Monday 25th May
After breakfast at 09:45am we will depart for our we will transport you on the short journey to the world famous Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens. You'll be able to learn all about the History of the Stud, racehorse breeding and meet the fabulous Living Legends before enjoying the new Interactive Racehorse Experience.
Then it is on to The Curragh Racecourse when legendary Curragh Trainer Dermot Weld joins us for lunch and a tour of his famous Rosewell Lodge training yard. After the tour we will transport you Kildangan Stud Tour. The breeding operation in Ireland for the mighty Goldolphin racing operation. Following our tour we will return you to the Hotel.
DAY 5 | Tuesday 26th May
After breakfast at leisure we will transport you back to Dublin Airport for your return flight home. Hopefully richer in every way for the experience.
ADDITIONS
You are welcome to add Golf, Additional nights and Hospitality for one or more days of this tour. Why not "Fly In" to the races on our own Helicopters for the extra special treat. Just let us know what you'd like to add and we will get back to you with a quotation.
CHECKING IN
Please go to Hotel reception and check in. If you arrive before check in time (3:30pm) you may not have access to your room. In this case the Hotel will store your luggage for you until your room is ready. The Hotel will be 100% full during this event so please be prepared for a longer check in time than normal.
OUR GUEST DESK
Our Race and Stay guest desk is located a short distance from Hotel reception. Our staff are based there from early each morning and this is where you will collect your race tickets from each day. We are there to help you have the best time possible. Please check our screens for the latest information.
YOUR ROOM AND COMFORT
Lawlors Guest rooms are all en-suite are very comfortable and feature signature Beds and Pillows. You'll have plenty of hanging space for your clothes, with in room safe, tea and coffee station, hairdryer, flat screen TV and channels, iron and board, fluffy towels and all you need for your stay.
EATING AND DRINKING
There are 3 main food options at Lawlors. The Bistro restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Atrium for casual dining and Vi's Restaurant for a more intimate dining experience. THE RANDOM INN BAR
The Random Inn is a great spot for a drink and to enjoy the Racing TV replays of the days action on the big screen. Very busy at weekends and a locals favorite too the Bar is open from 5pm until late. Great Cocktails, a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits and there is always entertainment on at weekends too.
NAAS TOWN
Naas Town is the social hub of the local area with many great local bars, restaurants and entertainment each night, all within walking distance of Lawlors Hotel. A few suggestions are Haydens Bar, McCormacks, and Kavanaghs. All have entertainment at weekends. Tommy Fletchers for an old style Irish Pub experience
RACING PREVIEW SHOW
Please do join us for our Racing Preview show on Saturday Morning at 10:00am in the Ballroom. Enjoy a light hearted infomative Irish Champions Festival Weekend racing preview show with our special guests hosted by the Racing Post's Dave Jennings. Admission is Free for all race and Stay guests.
THE RACES
The Irish Guineas Festival takes place on Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th May. Saturday hosts the first classic of the season, the Tattersalls Irish 2000 Guineas and other Group and listed races. Sunday features the Tattersalls Irish 1000 Guineas and The Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup.
RACE TRANSPORT
On Saturday & Sunday our coach departs for the Curragh at 12:30pm. Where the coach drops you off is where you'll catch the coach back to the hotel 45 minutes after racing concludes. Your guest manager will be on hand to assist on the outward and inbound journeys.
TICKETS & HOSPITALITY
Please collect your race tickets from our Guest Desk no later than 11:30 each morning. When you arrive at the racecourse entrance you will have your ticket scanned and you are free to enjoy your day. Hospitality Guests will be escorted by our staff to the area they are booked into.
AT THE RACES
Both days will be very busy but great fun. At The Curragh there are several food and drinks outlets outside and inside the grandstands. Entertainment will be on during the afternoon and a Live Band after racing and if you'd prefer to stay on for the evening entertainment just let us know.
WHAT TO WEAR
There is no formal dress code on Irish Racecourses but no sportswear or anything offensive. For the Ladies, if you want to “glam up for the day” please do so, but do also dress for the weather. For the Gents, smart casual always works in all areas but the main rule is to be comfortable and warm in what you are wearng.

The Galileo Suite is a VIP location on the premier level of the grandstand with magnificent views over the Curragh. Our package includes a Premier Level Badge, 3 course buffet lunch, Cash Bar, race card, pen and Guest tipster. Guests can book a table of 10 or be seated on shared tables of 10 in the suite.
