The Irish Derby Festival starts on Friday 25th June and ends on Sunday 27th June 2027.

ITINERARY

Friday

Our Driver will take you to the 4* Lawlors Hotel to check in and our welcome dinner.

Saturday

After our Preview Show we will depart for Ladies Day at The Curragh for some Top class Group racing.

Sunday

After breakfast we will depart for The Curragh for the fabulous Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Day.

Monday

After breakfast we will depart for Coolmore Stud for our tour with Lunch in Saddlers Restaurant included..

Tuesday

Today we visit the Irish National Stud and then to the Curragh for lunch with legendary Irish trainer Dermot Weld before we go evening racing at Roscommon.

Wednesday

This morning enjoy your visit to Kildangan Stud, Godolphins operation in Ireland. Then we depart for evening racing at Fairyhouse with hospitality in our Private Suite included.

Thursday

We will transport you back to Dublin Airport.

WHEN YOU BOOK

AFTER YOU BOOK

From 31 days through event no refunds are possible but you may be able to change some minor details. We strongly recommend that you have adequate travel insurance to cover any loss late cancellation may cause.

Day 1

FRIDAY 25TH JUNE

Arrivals Day
Our driver will collect you from Dublin Airport. Tonight we have a welcome dinner for our guests.

Day 2

SATURDAY 26TH JUNE

After breakfast at 10am join us for the Derby Preview Show at Lawlors Hotel before getting ready for Ladies Day at the Curragh.

Day 3

SUNDAY 27TH JUNE

After breakfast your morning is free before we depart for the iconic Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Day with top class racing, fashion and entertainment. After racing concludes we will return you to the Hotel in good time to enjoy our Apres Derby BBQ and Party.

Day 4

MONDAY 28TH JUNE

After breakfast we depart for our tour of the world famous Coolmore Stud where we are treated to a real look behind the scenes of this amazing breeding operation, and the feeder of horses to Ballydoyle's racing empire. The tour also includes a visit to the new Legacy Room. After the tour we will depart to the Coolmore owned Saddlers Restaurant for a lunch.

Day 5

TUESDAY 29TH JUNE

After breakfast we depart to the Irish National Stud for our tour. After the tour then it is on to the Curragh for lunch with legenadary trainer, Dermot Weld and a stable tour. You'll be back at the Hotel in good time to get ready for Roscommon races this evening with General admission tickets.

Day 6

WEDNESDAY 30TH JUNE

After breakfast we depart to Godolphin's breeding operation in Ireland, Kildangan Stud for our tour. After the tour you'll be back at the Hotel in good time to get ready for the Fairyhouse races this evening which includes Hospitality in Race and Stay's Private Suite.

Day 7

THURSDAY 1ST JULY

After breakfast at leisure we will transport you back to Dublin Airport for your return flight home.

After you have booked the tour we can upgrade your tickets at The Curragh to one of our dining packages in the Restaurants or VIP Hospitality in Race and Stay's Private Suite.

CHECKING IN

Please go to Hotel reception and check in. If you arrive before check in time (3:30pm) you may not have access to your room. In this case the Hotel will store your luggage for you until your room is ready. The Hotel will be 100% full during this event so please be prepared for a longer check in time than normal.

OUR GUEST DESK

Our Race and Stay guest desk is located a short distance from Hotel reception. Our staff are based there from early each morning and this is where you will collect your race tickets from each day. We are there to help you have the best time possible. Please check our screens for the latest information.

YOUR ROOM AND COMFORT

Lawlors Guest rooms are all en-suite are very comfortable and feature signature Beds and Pillows. You'll have plenty of hanging space for your clothes, with in room safe, tea and coffee station, hairdryer, flat screen TV and channels, iron and board, fluffy towels and all you need for your stay.

EATING AND DRINKING

There are 3 main food options at Lawlors. The Bistro restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Atrium for casual dining and Vi's Restaurant for a more intimate dining experience. THE RANDOM INN BAR

The Random Inn is a great spot for a drink and to enjoy the Racing TV replays of the days action on the big screen. Very busy at weekends and a locals favorite too the Bar is open from 5pm until late. Great Cocktails, a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits and there is always entertainment on at weekends too.

NAAS TOWN

Naas Town is the social hub of the local area with many great local bars, restaurants and entertainment each night, all within walking distance of Lawlors Hotel. A few suggestions are Haydens Bar, McCormacks, and Kavanaghs. All have entertainment at weekends. Tommy Fletchers for an old style Irish Pub experience

SATURDAY @ THE RACES

After breakfast at 10am join us for the Derby Preview Show at Lawlors Hotel before getting ready for Ladies Day at the Curragh featuring Fashion and several Group races with great food and entertainment throughout the afternoon. After racing concludes we will return you to the Hotel.

SUNDAY @ THE RACES

Today is the pinacle race day of the Irish season. Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Day. A day to enjoy the electric atmosphere, Fashion, top class racing and entertainment. Join us at Lawlors Hotel at 8pm for our Apres Derby Party featuring our BBQ supper and Live Band until late.

TUESDAY @ THE RACES

After breakfast we depart to the mighty Godolphin breeding operation in Ireland, Kildangan Stud for our VIP tour. After the tour you'll be back at the Hotel in good time for lunch and to get ready for the Fairyhouse races this evening which includes Hospitality in Race and Stay's Private Suite

TICKETS & HOSPITALITY

Please collect your race tickets from our Guest Desk before we depart each morning. When you arrive at the racecourse entrance you will have your ticket scanned and you are free to enjoy your day. Hospitality Guests will be escorted by our staff to the area they are booked into.

WHAT TO WEAR

There is no formal dress code on Irish Racecourses but no sportswear or anything offensive. For the Ladies, if you want to “glam up for the day” please do so, but do also dress for the weather. For the Gents, smart casual always works in all areas but the main rule is to be comfortable and warm in what you are wearng.
