The Clayton Leopardstown is 20 minutes travel time from the City with direct Luas links and with a direct coach to and from Dublin Airport. Only a 5 minute stroll away from Leopardstown Racecourse and less than 40 minutes from the Curragh.
Our 1 or more night packages include luxury Classic Rooms, either with 1 x King Size (Double) or 2 x Separate Beds (Twin). WHEN YOU BOOK

AFTER YOU BOOK
Our booking terms are very fair and easy to understand, for both you and us. After you have booked you can email us to change anything, add extras or cancel your booking in full and receive a full refund anytime up until 31 days before you arrive. From 31 days through event no refunds are possible but you may be able to change some minor details.
FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT
The fastest and most convienient way to get to and from the Clayton Leopardstown isd by taxi. The cost to and from the airport is approx €60 each way. ARRIVING BY CAR
Parking for hotel guests at Clayton Hotel Leopardstown is available at a special overnight rate of €10 which can be paid on check out. The car park is located underneath the hotel. The car park is accessible by elevator to the Hotel lobby and then all floors. Driving Directions are available HERE.
PRIVATE TRANSPORT

CHECKING IN
Please go to Hotel reception and check in. If you arrive before check in time (3:30pm) you may not have access to your room. In this case the Hotel will store your luggage for you until your room is ready. The Hotel will be 100% full during this event so please be prepared for a longer check in time than normal.
OUR GUEST DESK
Our Race and Stay guest desk is located a short distance from Hotel reception. Our staff are based there from 09:00 each morning and this is where you will collect your race tickets from each day. We are there to help you have the best time possible. Please check our screens for the latest information.
YOUR ROOM AND COMFORT
The Clayton rooms are all en-suite are very comfortable and feature signature Clayton Beds and Pillows. You'll have plenty of hanging space for your clothes, with in room safe, tea and coffee station, hairdryer, flat screen TV and channels, iron and board, fluffy towels and all you need for your stay.
EATING AND DRINKING
There are 3 main food options at the Clayton. The Bay and Sorrel restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Atrium for casual dining and the Bookmakers Bar, serving cocktails, Beers and Spirits with entertainment over the weekend. Bookings are essential for all meals: Call + 353 1 293 5000
ENTERTANMENT
The Clayton Hotel put on evening entertyainment most weekend nights in the Bookmakers Bar. If you'd rather take a trip into the City then taxis are in the rank outside the Hotel or alternatively the Luas tram runs a regular service into the city from just a short stroll away from the Hotel.
HOTEL LEISURE
The Clayton Hotel has a small fitness suite, located on the lower ground floor which is free to use for all hotel guests over 18. Weights, running machines and more are all available for you to use from 08:00 until 20:00 each day. Please note that this hotel has no in house pool or spa.
RACING PREVIEW SHOW
Please do join us for our Racing Preview show on Saturday morning at 10am in the Sandyford Suite. Enjoy a light hearted infomative Irish Champions Festival Weekend racing preview show with our special guests hosted by the Racing Post's Dave Jennings. Admission is Free for all race and Stay guests.
THE RACES
The Irish Champions Festival features Group 1 races each day and a number of high value supporting contests to enjoy. Racing starts at 14:15 on Saturday at Leopardstown with a 9 race card. On Sunday at The Curragh the first race is due off at 13:30 and the last race is at 17:35.
RACE TRANSPORT
There is a shuttle coach to and from Leopardstown Racecourse starting from 12 noon where the coach drops you off is where you'll catch the coach back to the hotel after racing. On Sunday we run one coach to and from The Curragh which departs at 12 noon and departs the Curragh at 18:15pm.
TICKETS & HOSPITALITY
Please collect your race tickets from our Guest Desk no later than 11:30 each morning. When you arrive at the racecourse entrance you will have your ticket scanned and you are free to enjoy your day. Premier Level and Hospitality guests will be escorted by our staff to the area they are booked into.
AT THE RACES
Both days will be very busy but great fun. At both Leopardstown and The Curragh there are several food and drinks outlets outside and inside the grandstands. Entertainment will be on during the afternoon and after racing and if you'd prefer to stay on for the evening entertainment just let us know.
WHAT TO WEAR
There is no formal dress code on Irish Racecourses but no sportswear or anything offensive. For the Ladies, if you want to “glam up for the day” please do so, but do also dress for the weather. For the Gents, smart casual always works in all areas but the main rule is to be comfortable and warm in what you are wearng.
