Stayed at the royal marine hotel and attended both days. Wow 🤩. Superb hotel, fantastic location, rooms, breakfast and staff all superb. Transfer to and from track was a great experience. The addition of the coach transfer and tipping guests were both welcome additions and really improved on an already great few days. Once again Race and Stay were right on the money. The service you and your staff provide is impeccable. You took all the worry out of our trip so we could get on with enjoying ourselves. You were brilliant for DRF looking after Joe and myself but this time for Irish Champions Weekend you have three times gone above and beyond. Firstly Tamara (hope I have spelt it correctly) was a breath of fresh air each morning at the hotel. Happy, efficient, knowledgeable. Couldn't have done any more for us. They loved the hotel and the golf and also played on the Monday at a club recommended by one of your drivers. James said the racing was fantastic, so many good horses running. Your recommendation for that meeting was spot on. Thankyou also for accommodating the very delayed Ryanair flight, that was a huge relief to know they were not going to be stranded at the airport. Unlike some friends who had flown in for the sales and ended up having to spend the night at Dublin airport ! Their car hire desk had closed. Good morning Martyn We had a fabulous day yesterday, and very successful! The only bits making it a little short of perfect were: Our main course was served a full hour after our starters! And then the dessert was served within minutes of finishing that! Our sandwiches were the dregs! Apart from a cheese/ham and a ham, there was only chicken mayonnaise – whereas every other table we looked at had wraps, rolls and a far better selection! And we had to ask for veggie option. AND we had to ask for the sweet treats, which were again a poor comparison to other tables! Something for you to take up with the racecourse? Anyway …. It seems I left my subscription sunglasses, in a hard case, in The Corinthian, so please would you ask Aveen to make enquiries for me today? It would be much appreciated. My wife booked a package of 2 days at the Fairyhouse Race Festival combined with 3 nights accommodation at the Glenroyal Hotel in Maynooth. It did not disappoint! The company was very informative with the booking process and the pre-trip information was very detailed. The staff that we met over the 2 days were very helpful, punctual and took time out to chat to us, checking everything was okay when at the racecourse. Good morning Martyn, I just wanted let you, Tamara and the Race & Stay team know that myself, Dave, Tamsin and Joff had the best time ever at the Fairyhouse Easter Festival. We had loads of fun and a few winners too!!!! The Dunboyne Castle Hotel was perfect for our stay, the location to the racecourse and Dublin couldn't have been better. Great bus link to Dublin from Dunboyne. The hotel felt as if it could have been miles from anywhere, set in lovely grounds but we were a short walk from the village, which had great local pubs, restaurants and shops. The service that you and your team provided was great. It was nice of you to take the time to show us around Fairyhouse on the Sunday before we came back on the Monday for The National. Tamara was very helpful sending me text messages about the pickup location for after racing on Sunday and everything was laid on for us to go racing on the Monday.
We had a great time. The service provided by the Race & Stay Team was first rate. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel staff and Dunboyne locals made us very welcome. The location was ideal. All in all it was a perfect break for friends who have a love of racing to get together for a few days of fun. Dear Martyn, First of all, I would like to say how much i enjoyed staying at your hotel and being a part of the race and stay initiative. I really think it is an excellent idea and one I intend to participate in again in the not too distant future. Regarding feedback I was very impressed with how my two days and nights were organised. One thing I must mention is the possibility of providing an airport shuttle service. You may already provide this so I apologise if that is the case. I would definitely be interested in booking airport shuttle services in any future visits as it's a visit where my preference would be not to drive.

We had always wanted to take a group to Galway races to enjoy the ‘Craic’ and started planning over 12 months ago thinking that Covid would be long behind us. We chose Martyn Pipe of Race and Stay to handle all of the bookings and planning Ireland side. Initially it was a simple 3 days at the racing and a game of golf. Little did we know. Multiple changes, total uncertainty regarding travel/entry/covid and what events we could do led to us nearly cancelling. Martyn stayed calm throughout and tailored the trip to what could be booked and guaranteed. Thankfully Ireland opened up on the 19/7 and the trip was on . And what a trip it was. Golf at Adare,shooting ( clays), fishing and we even got into the racing despite the 1000 limit. Race and Stay were brilliant and Martyn was a magician! He appeared like a genie at every event making sure that we were welcomed and looked after and ensured that everything worked like clockwork. We couldnt have been in better hands. The venues/the organisation and the transport,care and attention were spot on. Martyn Thank you to you and your Team. We will be back!

Hi Martyn, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for a wonderful weekend at the Dublin Racing Festival. We had the best time and so amazing to see Faugheen cheered home! Martyn & Amanda, The Patrick Carroll group have all arrived safely back home, unfortunately! We are back in Saratoga Springs, my brother Dennis and his wife Peggy are back in Louisville. Leaving Dublin for home after such an amazing weekend was difficult, we all had a wonderful time, we didn’t want it to end. I want you to know that we were all “blown away" with the visits to the 2 stud farms, lunch at Fallon’s and The Irish National Stud. Then, the day at the Curragh was really awesome! Meeting Brian and Darren Bunyan and of course Chris Hayes in the paddock was a special treat, thank you. The Curragh grandstand structure is simply a spectacular facility and our table, location, meal and service was exceptional. Again WOW! My day at Leopardstown was difficult for me, due to some weird sinus trouble, I had that day, I still enjoyed a great day. You certainly know how to guide our group through The Champions Weekend, thank you! We have now begun talks, among ourselves, about NEXT year! Wow, and Thank you!

It all started with your warm welcome in The Heritage Foyer. We thank you for your kind welcome drink and managing to get us into the restaurant before they stopped serving food. The hotel was faultless with such grand sized rooms throughout. The hospitality packages at both Leopardstown and The Curragh were extremely impressive. It was lovely to dress up and see how the other half get to experience it! Adrian and Greg provided exceptional transfers from the airport and to and from the races. They were always on time, friendly and full of interesting conversations and recommendations. We will be spreading the word and telling everyone we know about our incredible package. We all (especially my mother) had a most enjoyable time and I would like to say that the whole weekend went without a hitch. Hi Martyn, My friends and I really enjoyed our recent trip to The Irish Derby with Race and Stay, everything was wonderful and all went according to plan. From the great welcome on our arrival at the hotel it just started the weekend off on the right note. The hospitality at The Curragh was amazing, great food, service, and location. My guests are still raving about the trip and time. I would highly recommend Race and Stay to anyone planning a Racing Trip, they make it so good. I bought this race and stay weekend as a gift for my father's birthday. Last weekend himself and my mother attended the Guineas race meeting and had nothing but praise for their entire weekend. From the quality standard of the hotel to the great customer service provided by yourselves in regards to the tickets and transport to from the curragh. They spoke very highly of your staff that they met. All in all they had a wonderful time and have dropped hints already for future birthday gift ideas. Thanks.

Susanne and I had a great time. Everything, the hotel, race course, National Stud, other guests, really well organised with that endearing Irish capacity reminiscent of Father Ted! Company was fab; entertainment both organised and unintended brought more than a hearty smile and sometime an infectious laugh. We were very lucky with the weather so an outdoor barbecue would have been nice but just a suggestion. A truly lovely time!

Hi Martyn, just a brief note to thank you and Trisha for making our weekend at the Heritage Resort such an enjoyable experience!! Top class racing and a lovely room to collapse in at the end of each day - what more could you ask for? Alan particularly enjoyed the visit to the Irish National Stud where (as he now tells everyone he meets) he fed carrots to Hurricane Fly, one of his all-time favourite racehorses. Our only regret was not allowing enough time for a round of golf but perhaps the next time. Sometime soon we are intending to do the Punchestown Festival and will definitely contact Race and Stay when we are ready to make a firm booking. Once again our thanks to both of you for “going the extra mile” in respect of customer care - it was greatly appreciated.

We booked to attend the Irish Derby with Race & Stay this year (2019) and what a great event it was! The accommodation and facilities at The Heritage were wonderful and the whole event (including transport there to The Curragh and back) went off like clock-work. We would highly recommend the event to any other keen race-goers.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Well organized with bus to and from. Hotel excellent. Race track top class. Enjoyed the evening bbq plus the musicians- it was fun to have a dance after a day at the races even if we didn't win

We had a fantastic time and will definatley be back one day soon I hope. As for the feedback it was ALL just fantastic, you looked after us and appreciate the time you took to answer any questions we had and also the thorough details you gave us on arrival and departure The race course is fantastic, all the staff in the restauaraunt were brilliant looked after us really well NOTHING was any trouble for them and the food was delicious, the views and location superb too The transfers, drivers and times etc were all planned great with nothing late or again any trouble for them. Hi Martyn, Julie and I wish to thank you and Mandy for all you did to provide us with a wonderful experience at this years Irish Derby Festival. We loved it. The Keadeen Hotel provided us with beautiful accommodation. What a delightful facility it is. The visits to Darren Bunyan's Stables and to the Irish National Stud were outstanding bonuses which we thoroughly enjoyed.Please pass on our thanks to Darren for his most generous and warm hospitality. Despite the disruption caused by the building works at the The Curragh, the Festival was, from our point of view, a great success. The highlight, of course, was Latrobe's win in the Derby. I was fortunate enough to see his sire Camelot win the 2012 Derby so it was very special for me to see one of his progeny follow in his father's hoofprints. Both Lloyd and Joseph were, of course, associated with the 2017 Melbourne Cup winner Rekindling. As I may have told you I am a passionate supporter of jumps racing and as such have an ambition to attend the Punchestown Festival. Unfortunately we won't be able to do so next year as we will be attending the Cheltenham Festival, but hopefully the year after, God willing, we will be able to achieve my ambition. Whenever it occurs I will have no hesitation in once again contacting you to make the arrangements for our Visit. Why wouldn't I given the outstanding work that you and Mandy did to provide us with the outstanding experience that we have recently enjoyed.

Hi Martyn, We had a fab weekend thanks. The booking was so easy - you organised everything for us which took the headache away of having to book individual elements. We loved the Curragh - very relaxed & family atmosphere, not full of hen parties!! The Hospitality part was ok - the staff were not particularly attentive - we had to wait 20 mins for them to find glass flutes for our fizz when we first arrived which you would have thought would have been available. The food was ok - but much better in the Bistro on the Sunday and the restaurant above Kavanaghs was fantastic food. The Killashee was fine - but for us probably a bit big and impersonal, but all the facilities were good & loads of space etc - it just felt a bit wedding hotel but was good & the rooms were massive! All transport was very smooth. The actual racing was top class (and we had several Yorkshire winners which topped it off for us!!) Definitely interested in coming again and possibly to other races - so please let us know which races you cover.

Hi Martyn, As I mentioned on the call, our group throughly enjoyed the weekend. The racing experience was fantastic and the girls are already talking about returning next year. The atmosphere at the track with ladies day etc was so much fun. The only negative I could give you on the whole weekend was the hotel breakfast felt like they were over capacity and when we arrived at breakfast there were no clean glasses, no cutlery, lots of the breakfast items had run out. Also, the door staff were quiet rude upon our arrival back to the hotel the attitude seemed to be quiet and go to bed!! All in all I would give the racing experience 10 out of 10 but The Osprey only 7 out of 10. Dealing with you in the planning phase 12 out of 10, you made it all so easy.

Hi Martyn, It was great to meet you in person and put a face to your name! The guests returned to the hotel with big smiles in their faces, so I would say that they had a very good time. Some of them said that they are looking forward to coming back after you guys finish the new stand. I would like to thank you for all your help with this booking. Dear Martyn I wanted to make sure I thanked you and your staff for all the hospitality and help you showed Marianne and myself on Friday night. It was especially appreciated and a surprise I that you sought us out to welcomed us and the time you spent to talk to us. I love horse racing and we had a great time, the meal and service were excellent. We were able to walk around and the facility is beautiful and will be even better were the grandstand is completed. It was also profitable as I was able to 'hit" the Jackpot 4 (pick 4 in US terms) for a little over $2000 Euros I will make a it point to return and I have communicated this to friends on my Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Hi Martyn, Everyone had a lovely time. Many are even saying it was the highlight of their week and they'd like to plan another trip when the renovations are completed! Killashee was very organized and check in was quite easy when we returned. The hotel and grounds were beautiful and staff were very kind. Our driver, I did not catch his name, was lovely. And of course, your tour of the track was fantastic. The upgrade was certainly worth it. The food was delicious and having a home base was great for a large group. Our only negative, and I use that very lightly, was that some of the menu items were no longer available by the time some of us sat for lunch. Other than that everything was better than expected! We look forward to coming back again and seeing the new additions! - Thanks again for everything!

We all really enjoyed our experience with Race and Stay to celebrate my brothers 50th. Keaden Hotel was lovely and we all enjoyed our trip to the stud farm. The Race day at the Curragh was great and we enjoyed our meal.

Hi Martin, Earlier this year we took a decision to reward our loyal customer base with a day out where they could relax and get away from their daily routine. I was charged with the task and the rest is history. I must say the venues have left a memory which has certainly bonded us with our customers. The number of customers who approached Paddy and I, to thank us for a wonderful day out was more than we normally experience, none of them failed to mention the friendly staff, excellent food and atmosphere. This is just a short note to thank you and your staff for the attention to detail and very hands on approach. When we at Quinn's are considering what to do for our customers next year the Curragh hospitality has certainly set the bar very high.

Hi Martyn, both Des and I had one of the best experiences ever this weekend which is thanks to you and your team. From arriving on Saturday until leaving on Sunday after the races everything was perfectly organised but also very relaxed and totally enjoyable. The hotel was brilliant and even though there were not many at the BBQ we danced til midnight and my feet are still recovering. Hospitality at the Curragh was amazing, the food was second to none and we spent the whole day enjoying the company of the other people we had met at our table. A Good day out - Sir, - Last Sunday (August 28th) myself and three other men, along with my two teenage sons, attended the Irish Cambridgeshire meeting at the Curragh. For all it was a first visit and we were in the dark regarding facilities and general layout. One of our party had mobility issues and, upon arriving and parking, we were accommodated in a most courteous manner and given much helpful advice by the lady on the hospitality desk and a chap named Martin. Our day was spent in the Horseshoe Bar where the Tote staff, service and catering was first-class. The young lady on duty at the members’ entrance was very considerate in providing a chair for me to view the action from and I must thank her. Overall we all enjoyed the experience and atmosphere. It was an altogether most agreeable day out. We will be back !
