Our exclusive VIP Irish National Stud tours are available on ALL weekday Festival mornings in 2023. With return transport to and from your Hotel included.
This is our most popular side tour for visitors to the Punchestown Festival, It fits in perfectly with the timings for the day as you can spend the morning enjoying the stud visit with plenty of time to get back to the Hotel to go racing that afternoon.
A fabulous VIP exclusive tour of the stud starting at 10am gives you a valuable insight into the breeding and management of thoroughbreds on this working stud farm before your guide takes you to Meet the Living Legends. The highlight of the trip for many you'll meet Faugheen, Hurricane Fly, Beef or Salmon, Rite of Passage, Kicking King and Hardy Eustace who all call the Irish National Stud home now after glittering careers on the racetrack. Get your picture taken with them, feed them carrots or mints and enjoy meeting these exceptional horses up close and personal.
The you will enjoy the new Interactive Racehorse Experience. A fabulous new addition to the Stud you'll have the opportunity to Buy, Own, Train and Ride a racehorse (virtually of course) in a lighthearted competitive and fun way before we depart at 12 noon back to your hotel. This exclusive VIP tour is an addition to your package that you really should not miss.
