After racing on Saturday please join us for a closing dinner before retiring. A fabulous tour with all transport and tickets included with our expert staff looking after you from the moment you arrive until you depart.

WHEN YOU BOOK

Either way your payment to us is fully refundable anytime up until 10/10/26. When you book you will be automatically emailed a BOOKING CONFIRMATION which contains all the details of your requested booking.
AFTER YOU BOOK
Our booking terms are very fair and easy to understand, for both you and us. After you have booked you can email us to change anything, add extras or cancel your booking in full and receive a full refund anytime up until 31 days before you arrive. From 31 days through event no refunds are possible but you may be able to change some minor details.
Day 1
Wednesday
Arrivals Day- Please plan to arrive before 12 noon to check in. This afternoon we will depart to Newcastle Races to get our first look at the track and facilities. A 7 race all weather card awaits and your package includes General admission Tickets.
Day 2
Thursday
After breakfast we will depart on our North East Trainer Tours, featuring the best racing stables in the area with a lunch break at a well known racing hostelry on the way. After the tour concludes we will return you back to the Hotel
Day 3
Friday
After breakfast your time is free to enjoy Newcastle and the surrounding area. We have built in this free day for you to explore the rugged coastline, Angel of the North, Wildlife parks or just chill for the day in Newcastle's cosmopolitan City Centre.
Day 4
Saturday
After breakfast join us for our Preview Show, featuring top racing personalities before we transport you to Newcastle Races for the final day of our tour featuring the Grade 1 Fighting Fifth Hurdle and other top class races. After racing please join us for Dinner.

THE MALDRON HOTEL
The 4* Maldron Hotel in Newcastle City is one of the best Hotels to stay in for the races. Located in the city centre within walking disstance of the local bars and nightlife and only 15 minutes from Newcastle Racecourse. You can book stays from 2 nights to a whole week !!
ON ARRIVAL
Directions to the Hotel can be found here: Car Parking available locally at cost. Please go to Hotel reception and check in Your booking is under the lead guest name. If you arrive before check in time (3:30pm) you may not have access to your room. In this case the Hotel will store your luggage for you.
OUR GUEST DESK
Our Race and Stay guest desk is located a short distance from Hotel reception. Our staff are based there at least 1 hour before we depart for tours or racing on all days. This is where you will collect your race tickets from each day. We are there to help you have the best time possible.
YOUR ROOM AND COMFORT
All Maldron Hotel rooms are en-suite are very comfortable and feature signature Beds and Pillows. You'll have plenty of hanging space for your clothes, with in room safe, tea and coffee station, hairdryer, flat screen TV and channels, iron and board, fluffy towels and all you need for your stay.
EATING AND DRINKING
The excellent Grain and Grill Restaurant serves high quality fayre for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Breakfast can be a healthy option or the more traditional "Full English". The Bar offers a range of snacks and Casual meals, Barista Coffee and speciality teas and is a great spot apres racing for a cold beer.
LOCAL AREA
Considered the unofficial capital of North East England, Newcastle has a lot to offer with everything from stunning beaches and street art to iconic ocean baths, cool cafés and sculptures such as the iconic Angel of the North. Newcastle’s thriving cultural scene is just waiting to be explored.
WEDNESDAY @ THE RACES
Our transport will depart from the Hotel 1 hour before the first race on Wednesday where a 7 race card awaits. As part of the Unmissable Wednesday season these meetings attract a large number of young and upcoming horses and a selection from the top yards looking for potential group horses for the future.
SATURDAY @ THE RACES
Our transport will depart from the Hotel 2 hours before the first race on Saturday where a competitive card awaits featuring the Grade 1 Fighting Fifth Hurdle. One of the best races of the UK jumps season featuring Cheltenham, Punchestown and Aintree hopefuls. Always thrilling, always exciting a must watch.
RACE TRANSPORT
Your transport is included in this tour package. At the races the coach will get as close as possible to the main entrance and where the coach drops you off is where you'll catch the coach back to the hotel 40 minutes after racing concludes. Your guest manager will be on hand to assist on all journeys.
TICKETS & HOSPITALITY
Please collect your race tickets from your Guest Manager before departing each day. Your tickets are the General Admission tickets with access to the lawns and enclosures. You can also upgrade to Premier Admission or Racecourse Hospitality in a variety of restaurant locations if required.
AT THE RACES
Wednesday will be a quieter day but Saturday will be busy. There are several food and drinks outlets outside and inside the grandstands. Entertainment will be on during the afternoon and a Live Band after racing and if you'd prefer to stay on for the evening entertainment just let us know.
WHAT TO WEAR
There is no formal dress code but no sportswear or anything offensive. For the Ladies, if you want to “glam up for the day” please do so, but do also dress for the weather. For the Gents, smart casual always works in all areas but the main rule is to be comfortable and warm in what you are wearing.
