The races start on town moor on Friday and the day 1 feature, the very popular Veterans Chase. On Saturday morning your time is free to enjoy our behind the scenes Doncaster Tour and Course Walk before we enjoy the feature race, the historic Grimthorpe Chase, a recognised Grand National Trial, the highlight of the meeting. We also offer a 4 night tour package with stable tours and a host of extras for you to enjoy. Whatever suits you our expert staff look forward to lookimg after you from the moment you arrive until you depart.

WHAT IS INCLUDED
WHEN YOU BOOK
Over 80,000 happy guests have booked with Race and Stay and when you book with us you can chose to pay a €100 deposit or Pay In Full. Either way your payment to us is fully refundable anytime up until 10/01/27. When you book you will be automatically emailed a BOOKING CONFIRMATION which contains all the details of your requested booking.
AFTER YOU BOOK
Our booking terms are very fair and easy to understand, for both you and us. After you have booked you can email us to change anything, add extras or cancel your booking in full and receive a full refund anytime up until 31 days before you arrive. From 31 days through event no refunds are possible but you may be able to change some of the minor details.
HILTON GARDEN HOTEL
the Hilton Garden Inn at Doncaster Racecourse is an ideal choice for those looking to stop over after the races, as well as being minutes away from Lakeside Village Shopping, Yorkshire’s Wildlife Park and many other tourist attractions, with rooms with views overlooking the racecourse.
ON ARRIVAL
Directions to the Hotel can be found here: Car Parking is £5 per day. Please go to Hotel reception and check in Your booking is under the lead guest name. If you arrive before check in time (3:30pm) you may not have access to your room. In this case the Hotel will store your luggage for you until your room is ready.
OUR GUEST DESK
Our Race and Stay guest desk is located a short distance from Hotel reception. Our staff are based there at least 1 hour before we depart for tours or racing on all days. This is where you will collect your race tickets from each day. We are there to help you have the best time possible.
YOUR ROOM AND COMFORT
Hilton Garden Inn Hotel rooms are all en-suite are very comfortable and feature signature Beds and Pillows. You'll have plenty of hanging space for your clothes, with in room safe, tea and coffee station, hairdryer, flat screen TV and channels, iron and board, fluffy towels and all you need for your stay.
EATING AND DRINKING
A fabulous location where you can enjoy modern cuisine along with old time favourites in the Garden Grille Restaurant and Bar. Situated on the ground floor of the hotel with spectacular views over Doncaster Racecourse, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a drink or dinner. Open daily for breakfast and dinner.
HOTEL LEISURE
The Hilton Garden Hotel has a small fitness suite, located on the lower ground floor which is free to use for all hotel guests over 18. Weights, running machines and more are all available for you to use from 08:00 until 20:00 each day. Please note that this hotel has no in house pool or spa.
THE RACES
The racecourse entrance is a short walk from the Hotel. The races start on town moor on Friday a competitive card awaits featuring the very popular Veterans Chase. On Saturday we enjoy the feature race, the historic Grimthorpe Chase, a recognised Grand National Trial, the highlight of the meeting.
TICKETS & HOSPITALITY
Please collect your race tickets from your Guest Manager before departing each day. Your tickets are the General Admission tickets with access to the lawns and enclosures. You can also upgrade to Premier Admission on Friday & Saturday or Racecourse Hospitality on one, or both days if required.
WHAT TO WEAR
There is no formal dress code but no sportswear or anything offensive. For the Ladies, if you want to “glam up for the day” please do so, but do also dress for the weather. For the Gents, smart casual always works in all areas but the main rule is to be comfortable and warm in what you are wearing.
