ON ARRIVAL

Directions to the Hotel can be found here: Car Parking is £40 per day. Please go to Hotel reception and check in Your booking is under the lead guest name. If you arrive before check in time (3:30pm) you may not have access to your room. In this case the Hotel will store your luggage for you until your room is ready.

OUR GUEST DESK

Our Race and Stay guest desk is located a short distance from Hotel reception. Our staff are based there at least 1 hour before we depart for tours or racing on all three days. This is where you will collect your race tickets from each day. We are there to help you have the best time possible.

YOUR ROOM AND COMFORT

McDonald Windsor rooms are all en-suite are very comfortable and feature signature Beds and Pillows. You'll have plenty of hanging space for your clothes, with in room safe, tea and coffee station, hairdryer, flat screen TV and channels, iron and board, fluffy towels and all you need for your stay.

EATING AND DRINKING

The Mc Donald Windsor Hotel features Caley's Brasserie for dining in a Relaxed and friendly environment. Specialities include the Josper Grill for the perfect steak and a wide range of dishes to enjoy as well as a speciality Indian menu. You can also indulge in afternoon tea with our classic selection.

ROYAL WINDSOR

Royal Windsor, despite its location close to London, is a haven of British Countryside living. With Windsor Castle dominating the skyline in all directions the town itself is a busy market town with many fine shops, bars and restaurants to savour as well as the historic buildings, thames parks and more to enjoy.

A UNIQUE EVENT

The Berkshire Million has it all. Two fabulous days of racing at Royal Windsor on Friday & Sunday with a day at Ascot, just a few minutes away as the "meat in the sandwich" on Saturday. This is your chance to experience jump racing at two of England's finest racecourses, both as unique, enjoyable and exciting as this iconic festival is.

THE RACES

Day One of the Berkshire Million Festival features The Fitzdares Soverign Hurdle and a great supporting card. Day 2 at Ascot features the The Bet MGM Clarence House Chase and a thrilling lineup of quality jump racing with live music featuring after racing. Day 3 features the Fitzdares Fleur de Lys Hurdle and several other top class contests.

RACE TRANSPORT

Your transport is included in this tour package. At the races the coach will get as close as possible to the main entrance and where the coach drops you off is where you'll catch the coach back to the hotel 40 minutes after racing concludes. Your guest manager will be on hand to assist on the outward and inbound journeys.

TICKETS & HOSPITALITY

Please collect your race tickets from your Guest Manager before departing each day. Your tickets are the 3 Day Admission tickets with access to the Queen Anne Enclosure at Ascot. You can also upgrade to Premier Admission on Friday & Sunday or Racecourse Hospitality on one, two or all days if required.

AT THE RACES

All 3 days will be very busy but great fun. At both courses there are several food and drinks outlets outside and inside the grandstands. Entertainment will be on during the afternoon and a Live Band after racing and if you'd prefer to stay on for the evening entertainment just let us know.

WHAT TO WEAR

There is no formal dress code but no sportswear or anything offensive. For the Ladies, if you want to “glam up for the day” please do so, but do also dress for the weather. For the Gents, smart casual always works in all areas but the main rule is to be comfortable and warm in what you are wearing.
